An answer hands the reader the page: the heading, the exact reference, a verbatim quote, and a link straight to the source.
Designed to refuse
Surau will say 'this isn't in the source.' Inventing an answer about faith is worse than admitting a limit.
An editorial process
A draft → review → publish workflow, reviewed by an Al-Azhar graduate with experience in the relevant field. Nothing reaches a reader unreviewed.
Build the library first, earn the right to retrieve later
Instead of clever retrieval on shaky data, we build the clean, verified library first — starting with the Quran. Slower, but it's the only sequence that produces something you should actually believe. We even paused the costly part until it's truly ready.
We'd rather ship slowly than ship a fast answer no one should trust.
For a product about faith, that isn't a compromise. It's the entire point.
